Service Description

Please Read Before Booking Spend a relaxing and creative time with your friends, partner, or loved ones in this unique tufting workshop where you will design and create your own custom rug. Age Requirement: 10+ To secure your booking, please select a session time and pay a $50 AUD deposit. Workshop Experience This is a hands on creative workshop where you will learn how to make your own tufted rug from start to finish. No experience is needed, and our instructors will guide you through every step of the process. You will learn: • How to use a tufting machine • How to bring your design to life on fabric • Gluing and backing techniques • Trimming and finishing basics The tufting process itself takes approximately 2 to 3 hours. The full workshop experience runs for around 4 to 5 hours in total. We provide a wide selection of design references for you to choose from, and you are also welcome to bring your own images or ideas. What’s Included • All tools and materials needed to complete your rug • Step by step guidance from our instructors throughout the session • Design support with a range of images provided • Complimentary snacks and lollies • One tufted rug project to take home Please note: This workshop allows up to 2 people to share one tufting frame and one tufting machine, making it a great experience for couples, friends, or family working on a shared piece. Optional Add On Professional rug trimming and finishing service is available for $40 AUD. You can decide on the day if you would like to add this. Finished rugs will be ready for collection in 3 to 5 days. Reschedule Policy You may reschedule your booking up to 48 hours before the workshop start time, subject to availability.
